Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I loved it especially the waterfall of chocolate. Don't go on an empty stomach and think popcorn will do the trick, you're only going to be hungrier for chocolate when the film is over.

I got the sense that Tim Burton couldn't wait to bring Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to life. This is a Tim Burton masterpiece. I enjoyed Johnny Depp's as Willie. Can believe Christopher "Vampire" Lee is still in the movies?

The change to the ending was too abrupt and a little quirky. This would not be signature Tim Burton if there weren't some weirdness about family.

This not a film that baby - 7 year old will be able to sit through. This is really made for the well-behaved 8-year old+ child and those adults like myself who loved the Chocolate Factory books as a kid.

How did you like it?

Now, I could use a chocolate bar.

Eh. But, I have found memories of the original, and I now know why I don't go to the movies: the audience. I would have liked the movie more if I wasn't subjected to loud parents and loud kids (more the parents, though).

The "family" seating sitting behind my mom and I were sooooo rude the little girl kept kicking my seat through the whole film. I turned around a couple of times and asked her politely to stop but well...kids...
