NYC: Lupe's East LA Kitchen - horrible service

You probably didn't know that I have a day job. I've been working on an exciting project...but it's been 24/7 for the past 6 weeks. I do have lots of food stories to talk about!

Here's a quickie: the service at Lupe's East LA Kitchen was terrible. We started with this wonderful wait person and ended up with the wicked witch of the west. Yikes! She nearly tossed my dinner at me when I asked if my order came with black beans.

I've eaten at Lupe's for over 15 years and always had great food but my dinner was spoiled by this incident. I won't be going back there.

Lupe's East LA Kitchen - don't bother if the service continues to be horrible. There are better Mexican places and more friendly service like Rocking Horse Cafe, Dos Caminos, and Rosa Mexicano.
