Carly's Bistro - Downtown Phoenix Live Review
Listen to the live commentary from the best of downtown Phoenix, about their dining experience at Carly's Bistro. Some great comments. Food was good, company awesome, music well... and much to my disappointment people were smoking, which kinds of ruins my dining experience. Try Carly's Bistro on a non smoking day, do they have those day here in phoenix? 128 E Roosevelt, Phoenix, AZ 85004, 602-262-2759.Have a listen:

Unfortunately, my dining experience at Carly's Bistro was ridiculously unpleasant with service that was incomprehensibly slow. The tables were dirty, the staff was curt, and it took an hour and a half to even receive our food on what looked like an average Friday lunch hour. Two other dining parties gave up and left during the time we were there. Are we Phoenicians so starved for non-generic, non-chain restaurants that we'll put up with this kind of service in order to enjoy an indie restaurant? I'm from Portland, Oregon, where indie restaurants flourish -- Carly's Bistro's lackluster performance would definitely never make it there.
Hey thanks for the comments. I love honesty!
Any people out there have something to say about Carly's? Daily Eats would love to hear from you.
