A little something I whipped up: ground turkey and vegetables Stroganoff minus the sour cream.
Makes 2 servings about 30 minutes from prep to cooking time.
1/2 lb of rice pasta
1/4 lean ground turkey
2 cloves of garlic
1 small shallot6 small red and yellow tomatoes
1/2 of broccoli
1/4 table spoon of butter
1/2 of white wine
1/4 teaspoon of dry garlic power, Basel, and oregano
Stir fry shallot and garlic add ground turkey. Simmer. Add halved tomatoes. Simmer. Blanch the broccoli. Add garlic power, basel and oregano. Simmer. Make sure turkey is brown. Add butter. Stir thoroughly. Add white wine. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Total cook time 15-20 minutes. Serve over rice pasta.
I prefer organic when I can. To me organic means not using any pesticides on plants or treating the ground with chemicals. Meats are grass fed, are not fed steroids. It is just a healthier way of eating.
