Dijon on Your Burger President Obama?
Funny thing about this whole uproar of whether to use dijon mustard or ketchup on your burger is just a matter of freedom of taste. If you are a traditional you'll probably stick with what's traditional - ketchup. Nothing wrong with a ketchup on your burger. But if you're willing to be flexible and try something for instance to spice it up you'll almost certainly reach for some mustard. Nothing like changing things up. President Obama originally asked for spicy mustard. Btw Dijon is not exactly spicy there are some German mustard's that are extremely spicy. But Dijon on a cheddar cheese burger will add that certain flavor that only a cheese burger loving Dijon mustard using eater of well done burgers could appreciate.
I praise the President for being bold in his choice and showing us all there is more than ketchup choose from, giving us innovative thinking! I personally love grilled onions, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and I enjoy my French fries with mayo, pass the Grey Poupon so that I can put swipe my grilled bun with some Dijon. New York, New York - I’ve been to Organique four times since it opened earlier this year. Two out of the four times I ordered the organic burger with organic air baked fries. It is a good burger served on big whole wheat bun. The organic beef is raised in South Dakota by the Dakota Beef Company which is USDA Organic certified.
I had my Organic beef burger, organic cheese (c.) served with lettuce, tomato, pickles organic mayonnaise and ketchup. Biting into the Organique burger is a challenge. The first attempted resulted in the insides coming out the other side. The burger is delicious but very messy. For trial two, I asked that my burger be cut in half making it a little easier to tackle and eat. The air baked fries are refreshing and tasty not oily or heavy.
True a little pricey, but I had no indigestion, nor swelling fingers from excess salt and preservatives that are found in traditional burgers, and found my energy level to be at a high instead of slumping an hour after eating. I would prefer spending a little more for something tasty and healthy. If you’re looking for a healthy place for quick lunch Organique is the place.
