What You Don't Know About me...

Why blog about food? Food is the universal language. It is what connects us to being human and encompasses the five senses perhaps the sixth as well. We can not survive without sustenance.

I can't imagine a meeting with friends with out some sort of food being involved, or having a business meeting without a snack before, after or during. Breaking bread during a business meeting is a sign of trust a sign, of commitment, and interest, and almost equal to a handshake.

Food is sensual, mysterious, and intimate it is poetry when in the right environment creates amazing experiences. It is fuel to help us think, react, move. Food should not be taken for lightly.

I love food, dining out, people from all sorts of life, cats, chocolate, books, quantum philosophy, psychology, science, mathematics, art, music and film. I studied all sorts of religions and found experiencing life and knowing myself is my religion.

I work out "almost" every day averaging 3.2 miles running.

Outside of my busy business life: I enjoy traveling, yoga, social networking, cooking, dining out, did I say food shopping? And more food fun.

Before my marketing career took off, I put myself through school by working in restaurants: McDonald's, American Steak House, Quiche and Kettle, Pie Plate, and Blessings (were I pick of a few phrases in Mandarin.)

I grew up in Wolcott Connecticut (town of 1500 at that point in time), lived in Waterbury, New Haven, New Canaan, New York, Chicago, London, and Phoenix. I enjoy traveling over the world.
