It was a delicious and delightful Sunday brunch at Brite Food Shop. One of my favorite places for good eats and sometimes organic good eats.

It’s Sunday brunch in Manhattan Pam Riding and I were going to travel to China Town for dim sum but it was too chilly. We decided on the Coffee Shop in Union but much to our surprise the City closed it down. Our journey took us to the Republic for posh Thai but they won’t seat us a a table because we were not a party of four, though there was no line and plenty of open tables. We stumbled on the Portfolio restaurant, which has been open for almost twenty years. It was lovely talking to Pam about dining in New York. Pam Riding is an artist who splits her time between New York and the UK.
